Four Seasons Westcliff really seems to have it all!

Four Seasons makes a magnificent entry in South Africa with the opening in December of its first hotel, The Westcliff Johannesburg. The former hotel of the group, Orient Express Hotels Limited, is making a fresh start with a reopening in December 2014. This brand new urban resort seems to have all the criteria for a huge success.

Half an hour from the airport, the hotel is settled on top of a hill, offering a huge view: on one side of the hotel, the leafy north and on the other side, the the Johannesburg Zoo. Its ideal location allows business travelers the pleasure of being able to reach the business center in a short amount of time, and it is close to all leisure areas, surrounded by art galleries and trendy restaurants.

Luxury Standards with a touch of Africa

Rooms have been modernized and redecorated by Four Seasons interior designer in collaboration with the Johannesburg interior design company, JACKET. The 117 rooms and suites are contemporary with a touch of modern African decoration. Each room offers an outside terrace or balcony with an incredible view of either the zoo, or the gardens and the canopy trees.

The restaurants and bars were designed by the famous London hospitality designer company, Black sheep. The hotel offers five different atmospheres for dining, all are modern, classy and unique.

 Rainbow Nation Flavours

BraaiThe new chef, Dirk Gieselmann, a former chef at a three star Michelin restaurant, decided to embrace South African culture.

Flames is a restaurant which honours the South African flavours. The idea is fantastic; the hotel will serve braai food, the traditional South African barbecue in an outside kitchen. The menu will offer a large choice of urban casual food and a selection of craft beers too. You will definitely be able to experience the South African braai, revisited in an urban and creative way.
